The local organizing committee is pleased to invite you to the 14th Biennial Congress of the European Association of Oral Medicine (EAOM), in conjunction with the World Workshop VII on Oral Medicine, in Gothenburg, Sweden, in September 2018.

The congress will bring you internationally renowned speakers, each representing different fields of expertise, who will provide state-of-the-art lectures on the current challenges and future developments in oral medicine. The scientific committee will also include meet-the-expert sessions, a clinico-pathological conference, as well as oral communications and poster sessions for researchers and clinicians.

This will also be a wonderful opportunity to meet and discuss with colleagues and friends from around the globe, and to discover Gothenburg, a city known for its world-class seafood, modern gastronomy and stunning coastline and archipelago.

The World Workshop on Oral Medicine VII

The World Workshop on Oral Medicine (WWOM) gathers global experts in oral medicine. WWOM participants rigorously review the current literature, examine educational standards, and explore the future directions of oral medicine. This time, the WWOM will be held in Gothenburg for the 7th occasion since the first meeting was celebrated in Chicago in 1988.

Practical Information

The venue of EAOM 2018 will be held at Lindholmen Science Park, Gothenburg, Sweden. The conference center is located along Lindholmen´s waterfront. This area is currently one of Gothenburg´s most knowledge-intensive and growing areas. It is located close to the city center where the hotels, cultural attractions and a wide range of shops and boutiques are found. Also, the conference center is easily accessible by public transport (ferry or bus), bicycle pools or by car.

The international airport Landvetter (GOT) is located 20 kilometres south-east of the city centre and is easily accessible from various destinations in Europe and the world. The airport bus or taxi takes about 20 min to the city center.
